Warren Mok (莫華倫), a world-renowned
Hong Kong tenor , has performed many leading roles since his European debut in 1987 at theDeutsche Opera Berlin . He has also made frequent guest appearances in leading opera theatres and famous concert halls throughout the world.He has a repertoire of 50 operatic roles, including Calaf in
Turandot , Cavaradossi inTosca , Don José inCarmen and Radames inAïda . He has recorded many solo albums and opera CDs, including Il Trovatore, Simon Boccanegra, Roma, Robert le diable and Les Huguenotts. He has also appeared regularly on television and radio programs worldwide.In recent years, Mok has been active in Asia not only as a singer but as a producer, with a mission to bring the culture of western opera to the mass audience. He is the Artistic Director of the Macao International Music Festival and Advisor to the
Shanghai Opera House ,Shanghai Symphony andChina National Opera House , and recently was in the program planning and marketing section of the Macao Cultural Center. He has also produced many concerts in other Asian regions, collaborating with world-renowned conductors and singers. He foundedOpera Hong Kong in 2003 and is its Artistic Director.External links
