Language codes ISO 639-3 oia Oirata (also known as Maaro) is a Papuan language spoken on the island of Kisar in Indonesia, and in Ambon. It is sometimes considered a dialect of the Fataluku language spoken in East Timor, as the two languages are closely related. According to Ethnologue, there were 1,200 speakers in 1987.
