State Highway 27, commonly referred to as MH SH 27, is a major state highway that runs northeast from Pune to Ahmednagar in the state of Maharashtra. The highway is the major link between the two cities. Since trains take about 3 to 4 hours to cover this distance, people prefer travelling by this highway, by which a person can reach Ahmednagar within 1.5 to 2 hours.

The highway connects Pune and Ahmednagar to Wagholi, Karegaon, Shirur and Kedgaon
