Maharashtra Maritime Board is governmental organisation in the state of Maharashtra India. Task of this board is includes administration of ports and harbours, conservancy, licensing of crafts, levying of fees and regulation and control of traffic etc..

State od Maharashtra has a coastline of 720 kilometres (450 mi), of which Greater Mumbai District has approximately 114 kilometres (71 mi), Thane District 127 kilometres (79 mi), Raigad District 122 kilometres (76 mi), Ratnagiri District 237 kilometres (147 mi)and Sindhudurg District 120 kilometres (75 mi). There are 48 Intermediate & Non-Major Ports and 35 creeks on this coastline.[1]
