Shikshabekov made his professional MMA debut in 2008. A veteran of the M-1 Global fighting league Challenge series.
Strikeforce
Shikshabekov was scheduled to make his US debut at Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Werdum on June 26, 2010. He was to face American Kickboxing Academy fighter Ron Keslar.[1] He was, however, forced off the card due to visa issues.[2]
Return in M-1 Global
At M-1 Challenge XXI: Guram vs. Garner, he faced Che Mills. Mills was able to take a judges decision after a sudden death fourth round.[3]
