Magic Price Comparison is a UK based price comparison service specialising in entertainment goods[1]

It was founded in December 2009 by Julian Stortt and allows consumers to search for film, music or games products and compare the prices from different merchants. A one-click price search facility is utilised where the lowest prices are displayed in its search results. This site has over 1 million products in its database[2].

Comparison Engine

Magic Price Comparison uses product feeds provided by various merchants to collate information on price, delivery cost, product image and descriptions [3]. These feeds are originally in XML format and transformed using the Magic Parser php parsing software.

In addition to the price comparison service, Magic Price Comparison has a user review and rating system to allows visitors to cast their vote on specific products.
