Bobby Wayne Pearson (born August 18, 1930 in Seminole, Oklahoma, died December 5, 1979 in Monroe, Louisiana), better known as Jesse Pearson, was an American singer, actor, writer and director.
He is best known for his role as Conrad Birdie from the 1963-film Bye Bye Birdie. One year later, he appeared in the film Advance to the Rear. He also appeared in TV-shows such as The Great Adventure and The Beverly Hillbillies. He wrote and directed the movies Pro-Ball Cheerleader en The Legend of Lady Blue. Jesse Pearson was also the narrator of Rod McKuen's The Sea LP as recorded by the San Sebastian Strings in 1966.
Jesse Pearson died of cancer in 1979.
