Jessie Joe Parker (born 8 July 1985) is a Papua New Guinean rugby league footballer, who was scheduled to sign for Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, however he did not return to England in time for pre season training despite being granted extra leave and time to sort out a visa. However he did not sort it in time and was released from his Wakefield contract. HE previously for Featherstone Rovers in the Co-operative Championship. He has played for the Papua New Guinea national rugby league team, he represented them at the 2008 World Cup and the 4 Nations in Australia in 2010. His position of preference is at centre, although he is something of a utility player.

Club

After several impressive seasons in the PNG domestic league, he had signed for Cairns based Queensland Cup side Northern Pride for 2009, but during the World Cup he caught the eye of Wayne Bennett and trialed with St George Illawarra but ended heading to the UK.

In 2009, Parker joined Championship big spenders Featherstone Rovers on a two year contract at The Chris Moyles Stadium. He signed with the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats for 2011.

International

Parker was named in the Papua New Guinea training squad in August, 2008 for the 2008 Rugby League World Cup.^[1] He went on to play for PNG in the World Cup. He was named as part of the Papua New Guinea squad for the 2009 Pacific Cup.^[2]

He played for Papua New Guinea in the 2010 Four Nations tournament. He played at both centre and fullback in the tournament.
