- Dyer Island, Bermuda
-
Dyer Island is an island of Bermuda.
Coordinates: 32°17′N 64°49′W / 32.283°N 64.817°W
Dyers Island is called such because it used to belong to Mr. Dyer, who was father of Cornelius Dyer (my great grandfather). He sold the island to buy a boat (punt) because back in those days, the locals had to cross a channel to buy their groceries (limited car transportation and no fridge existed yet).
