Location
Dunraven School is an inner city mixed comprehensive in the South London borough of Lambeth.
Buildings
The buildings are based over two sites that were previously used as a teacher training college (this site is now known as upper school) and a primary school (this site is now known as lower school).
There is building works going on and the "lower school" will be the new sixth form. The "upper school" will be the main building, holding all the years, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11.
In 2009 the school was awarded the British Construction Industry award for the creation of a new gym from old freight containers. The school is part of a £20,000,000 BSF reconstruction project. In July 2010 budget cuts caused the school's programme to be suspended pending a review, but on 6 August 2010 the project was given the go-ahead.
Notable ex students
Naomi Campbell who was originally from Streatham, South London studied at Dunraven.
Name
The school takes its name after the Earl Of Dunraven and still has ties with the Earl until this day.
