History
Founded in 1938, the company has ownership of one of the largest privately-held collections of rare Scotch whisky casks in the world.[1] The company has been laying down casks from premium Scottish distilleries for decades and has, in recent years, made its branded products available to whisky connoisseurs worldwide.
Originally based in Glasgow[2] In 2002, the company was acquired from American owners by Euan Shand.[3] Upon acquisition, the business ceased brokering whisky casks to concentrate on producing its own brands of Scotch whiskies. The company’s casks can be found maturing throughout Scotland. The Huntly Distillery
Future endeavors of the company include building The Huntly Distillery, a completely environmentally friendly, carbon-neutral whisky distillery[4] that is expected to break ground this year.
