Duncan McFadyen Rae (1888–1964) was a New Zealand politician of the National Party.
He graduated with an MA from the University of Auckland, then after teaching was Vice-Principal (1924-29) then Principal (1929-47) at the Auckland Teachers Training College.
He represented the Auckland electorates of Parnell from 1946 to 1954, and then Eden from 1954 (succeeding Wilfred Fortune) to 1960, when he retired.
He was made Consul-General to Indonesia (1960-63) then Chargé d'Affaires to Indonesia (1963); see List of Ambassadors from New Zealand to Indonesia.
He was born in Mataura, and was in the NZEF in World War I. He was awarded the C.M.G. in 1963.
