Driscoll Glacier

Driscoll Glacier is a glacier 13 nautical miles (24 km) long in the Heritage Range, draining southeast between the Collier and Buchanan Hills to enter Union Glacier. Mapped by United States Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1961-66. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Commander Jerome M. Driscoll, administration officer with U.S. Navy Squadron VX-6 during Deep Freeze 1965.
