Drillia amblytera is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Drilliidae.[3]

Distribution
This species occurs in the demersal zone of the Northwest Atlantic Ocean and has been found off Charleston, South Carolina , off Cape Hatteras, North Carolina at depths between 136 m and 258m.
