Biography
Drew Pearson is an Australian actor, born in Sydney[when?]. Pearson has appeared in TV shows such as (AFI winner) ABC's Double the Fist 1 and 2. He has also appeared in several national commercials and award winning short films.[citation needed]
Pearson studied acting at NIDA and graduated from the Australian Academy of Dramatic Art (AADA)[when?] . During his studies, he worked in theatre in Sydney, appearing in more than 20 shows, including playing the lead in Don Juan on Trial, the role of Colonial Whitaker in "Easy Virtue" and Jean In "Miss Julie".[citation needed]
After graduation, Pearson appeared in minor roles in filmes including Cedar Boys, The Combination, Gloomy Sunday, The New Prophet, Horizons Crossings, The Lives of Mount Druitt Youth, and a smaller role in the U.S cult film Suing the Devil which was released in 2011.[citation needed]
In 2010 Pearson played the lead in Rising Pictures' The Day Hollywood Died and a cameo role in the film 50-50. In 2011 Pearson was a guest judge at the worlds largest film festival "48 Hour Film Project", appeared in The 5th Shadow and the controversial film Exodus.[citation needed]

Pearson grew up in Kings Langley, New South Wales. He Started Acting at Three Stage where he would meet up for weekly Saturday classes. Arriving back from a long sabbatical in South Africa in 2003, he gave his architectural work up to pursue a career in acting in 2005–2006.
