Drew Banks is an entrepreneur, marketing strategist, and author. He currently serves as Head of Marketing for Prezi, a cloud-based presentation software company based in San Francisco.
In 2005, Drew co-founded home-networking start-up Pie Digital, and served as the companies President & COO. Other technology companies that Drew has worked for include Silicon Graphics (SGI), ThirdAge Media, and SAS Institute.
Drew is the co-inventor (with Pie Digital co-founder, John Barnhill) for the pending patent: System and Method for Automatic Configuration and Management of Home Network Devices Using a Hierarchical Index Model.[1]
Drew is also an accomplished business author and novelist.[2][3] He has published two business theory books that examine the implications of various communications and social media psychologies: Beyond Spin and Customer.Community. His novels include Able Was I [4] and Ere I Saw Elba.[5]
Drew holds degrees in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University and an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management.
