Dresden porcelain

The Saxon porcelain manufactory in Dresden was founded in 1872 and is still keeping alive the long tradition of European porcelain art. Few skillful shapers and painters are manufacturing delicate porcelain items purely by hand.

The headquarters is situated in Freital (near Dresden). Since 1901/02, Dresden Porcelain is a registered trademark. The blue "SP Dresden" (for Saxonian Porcelain Factory Dresden) is the protected trademark guaranteeing the authenticity of Dresden Porcelain.
