Dow Brain

Dow Brain, Owner and Producer, of Underground Productions, Inc. and www.bumpmusicnow.com has an extensive dossier; it includes over 500 music placements in hit films and TV shows like Weeds, Kyle XY, The Sopranos, Greek, Scrubs, America's Funniest Videos, The Oprah Winfrey Show and several others.

Most recently, his contribution to the LMFAO hit Party Rock Anthem helped propel it to number 1 on the Billboard chart [1] ; he produced and recorded UK pop chanteuse Lauren Bennett’s vocal. Only three weeks after its release, the Anthem generated over 125,000,000 YouTube hits.

His credits also include: Compositions for the Do It Again film score -- Robert Patton-Spruill’s documentary about Boston Globe reporter Geoff Edger’s quest to reunite The Kinks; the theme song and much of the score for the TVLand hit series "How'd You Get So Rich?" featuring Joan Rivers; and the theme song for the History Channel series The Works.

The Boston native’s childhood love affair with the piano evolved into Underground Productions, Inc. which opened in 1992; since it’s inception, Brain has produced five RIAA certified Platinum and Gold albums and singles, including a Platinum single for the number-one selling song Summer GirlsSummer_Girls, recorded by LFO on Arista Records.

Brain has his own publishing company, Dow Tone Music and is now a free agent as a writer/composer. In the past he has done term based co-publishing deals with BMG Music and PSO Ltd.
