Doring River, The Doring River originates northeast of Ceres and joins the Olifants River near the towns of Klawer and Vredendal, Western Cape, South Africa. Tributaries include the Tankwa River, Wolf River, Brandewyn River and Koebee River.
The Sawfin ("Barbus" serra) and the Clanwilliam Yellowfish (Labeobarbus capensis), local endemics classified, respectively, as Endangered and Vulnerable by the IUCN, are still found in this river.
