Don Hickman

Don Hickman

Don Hickman (died November 19, 2011) was an American news anchor. He was described as "one of Springfield's most recognizable people",[1] having worked as main anchor for WICS from April 17, 1972 to February 7, 2001.[1]

In 2003, Hickman unsuccessfully campaigned to be elected Mayor of Springfield.[1] The following year, he founded Springfield Scene Magazine.[1]

Personal life

Hickman was married to Betty, and had two sons – Todd and Barry.[1]
