Domà Nunch ("Only Us" or "Only Our" in Lombard language), is a social movement active in Insubria, across the border between Italy and Switzerland. It is an eco-national extra-parliamentary organization.
It was founded in 2005 and it aims to protect the territory of Insubria. Domà Nunch believs in self-determination and independence of Insubria as way to preserve the heritage, the history, the language and the environment of the region.[1] It also promote the re-unification of portions of Insubria presently split among Lombardy, Piedmont and Switzerland.
Domà Nunch is ruling an opposition against the urbanization and concreting of the land. They are against new highway projects, as the Pedemontana Lombarda proposed by the Regional Council of Lombardy.[2] Also, Domà Nunch aim to maintain taxation locally in Insubria in order to reclaim the land.
In 2010 the movement replied to the Enlargement of Switzerland motion proposing an integration between Switzerland and the Italian border-area of Insubria in order to join into a new Confederation.[3][4]
The president of Domà Nunch is the linguist e author Lorenz Banfi. The magazine of the movement is called El Dragh Bloeu ("The Blue Dragon").
