Dominic Deegan: Oracle For Hire Author(s) Michael "Mookie" Terracciano Website http://www.dominic-deegan.com/ Current status / schedule Weekdays Launch date 2002-05-21 [1] Genre(s) Fantasy, Humor Dominic Deegan: Oracle for Hire is a daily fantasy webcomic by Michael "Mookie" Terracciano that began in May 2002. The comic follows the adventures of Dominic Deegan, a freelance seer who finds himself often at the center of conflicts that threaten his whole world. The story is organized in long-form plots generally centered around an epic-scale adventure. Deegan's adventures lack a central villain who is consistent across the entire story, but instead involve several recurring major villains and secondary heroes.
Dominic Deegan blurs the line between traditional, serious epic storytelling and more modern semi-parodic tones in its comics. Terracciano's frequent use of puns [2][3][4] stands in contrast to the frequently grim and serious plots that he explores in the comic.
