Domaine de Boisbuchet

Domaine de Boisbuchet is a country estate from the 18th century in the South-West of France.

It is known for the internationally successful Summer Workshops at Boisbuchet which have been established there since over 15 years.

Alexander, the founding director of the Vitra Design Museum, bought the estate in 1989.

In the past years many experimental buildings have been constructed next to the historic buildings, like the chateau, the mill-house, the dependence to name a few.
