The Diy-Gid-Biy (meaning “eye of the head on top” or “chiefly ruins”)[1] are archaeological sites of the Mandara Mountains in the Far North Province of Cameroon.[2]

Site description
The Diy-Gid-Biy are a collection of stone monuments dispersed throughout a roughly 25 square kilometer area in the Mandara Mountains.
World Heritage Status
This site was added to the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List on April 18, 2006 in the Cultural category.[3]
