Taiwan Shoufu University (台灣首府大學), formerly known as Diwan College of Management (Chinese: 致遠管理學院), founded in 1990, is the second college of Madou District in Tainan City. It was founded by Mr. Wang Hung-Tien (Chinese: 王宮田),and his wife, Ms. Huang Hsin-Mong(Chinese: 黃秀孟). Mr. Wang was an educator, and his wife was a legislator. With a devotion to education, they decided to set up a college at their hometown Madou. There are eighteen departments categorized as three academics, Education, Management, and Technology, but, more specifically, there are Education Group, Management Group, Construction Group, Leisure and Group, Information Group, and Foreign Language Group. There are perhaps more than 10 thousand students now. With the establishment of Diwan, Madou becomes more prosperous. Its current president is Professor Chu, Wen-Hsiung (Chinese: 朱文雄), who specializes in Education, values students' learning and is engaged in cultivating healthy personalities. He aims at managing school well and expects Diwan can be better and better in the future.
