Dismas Becker (October 16, 1936 – October 19, 2010) was an American Democratic politician, civil rights activist, and Roman Catholic priest from Wisconsin.
Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Becker was ordained a Roman Catholic priest for the Discalced Carmelites order. He graduated from St. Francis Seminary and later from Marquette University. He would leave the priesthood in 1972. Becker was a civil rights activist in Milwaukee. He would served in the Wisconsin State Assembly from 1977 until 1989.[1][2]
