Dipterocarpus alatus (Thai: ยางนา, Khmer chheuteal) is a tropical forest tree from Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Viet Nam - where it is known as Dau nuoc (Dau rai). It often occurs gregariously along river banks and is a key planting species for regenerating deforested land around the Dong Nai river and Cat Tien National Park.
