Pretoria, South AfricaAlma mater University of South Africa Occupation Judge Dikgang Ernest Moseneke (born 20 December 1947) is the current Deputy Chief Justice of the Republic of South Africa.[1] He was appointed to the bench in 2002 by Thabo Mbeki, and was elevated as Deputy Chief Justice in 2005 by Thabo Mbeki.
During apartheid Moseneke had been a prisoner on Robben Island. Whilst imprisoned he served on the disciplinary committee of the prisoners' self-governed association football body, Makana F.A..[2]
