Dickinson Rocks

Dickinson Rocks is an isolated rock outcrop near the north end of Hershey Ridge, 9 nautical miles (17 km) northwest of Linwood Peak, in the Ford Ranges of Marie Byrd Land. Mapped by United States Antarctic Service (USAS) (1939–41) and by United States Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos (1959–65). Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for David N. Dickinson, construction mechanic, U.S. Navy, at Brockton Station (80S, 178W) on the Ross Ice Shelf for two seasons, 1965–66 and 1966-67.
