Endl.Dianella intermedia (Turutu) is a perennial herb of the family family Xanthorrhoeaceae, subfamily Hemerocallidoideae, found in New Zealand, Lord Howe Island, and Norfolk Island. It grows to 2 feet with pale violet flowers followed by turquoise berries.
