DID Season 2

Dharmesh Sir hit to massive popularity after his first performance in the Vadodra Auditions itself. It still stands as one of the most viewed performances on YouTube with over a million views. He was picked by the mentor Geeta Kapoor during team selections and went on to be a part of Geeta Ki Gang. During the season, he was eliminated and bought back a week after in wild card entry. In the Grand Finale, he ended up first runner up which created huge controversy as it was against everyone's expectations; majority of the viewers expected him to win. He was also the recipient of the Kya Baat Award. Later he was hired as a skipper in Zee TV's then new reality show, Dance India Dance Li'l Masters.

DID Li'l Masters

After his huge success in the second season of DID, Dharmesh Sir was hired back by Zee TV to choreograph in DID Li'l Masters. His works in the show gained massive praises and positive acclaim. The popular contemporary choreographer, Terence Lewis went on to name Dharmesh as the David Copperfield of Dance. Later, one of his students called Jeetumoni Kalita went on to win the title of Li'l Master while another one of his student, Vaishnavi Patil, came 2nd runner up.

As evident as it is, Dharmesh's Dhinchaks weren't only his team on the show, but were a family off-screen too. Their friendship with each other made themselves a level different from the other teams. Their bonding was evident in each performance. Dharmesh not only taught them excellent dancing skills, but also how to humbly accept everything that comes one's way, and that of course was the icing on the cake since it led to Jeetumoni becoming the first ever Dance Ka Baap. Their team strength was further displayed in DKS, where performances such as Dharmesh and Ruturaj, Vaishnavi and Ruturaj(the eternal dancing jodi) displayed their talents and bonding remarkably winning a lot of accolades from the audience and the judges. The best moment of it all was when the Dancing Dynamite Dharmesh was finally rewarded his much awaited MJ band after a very unique and innovative performance that blew away one and all just like he always does.
