Dhabu

The phrase "Dhabu" or "Dabu" is a Marathi word meaning money or cash.

The word is of archaic origin. The word is mainly attributed to Marathi language origin in Maharashtra, India specially pertaining to the region of Marathwada. It is also used widely in Andhra Pradesh, India under the abbreviated name of "Dabu".

The word is also used popularly in cultural song by same name by Andhra superstar Chiranjeevi.
