Devita Saraf is the daughter of Raj Saraf, the founder of Zenith Computers. She attended Queen Mary’s School and H. R. College in Mumbai and then moved to the USA to continue her studies at the University of Southern California, where she received a Bachelor of Business Management degree with a specialization in Marketing.
She started her career at the age of 16 when she when she started training under her father at Zenith Computers. She went on to become the Director of Marketing for the firm at the age of 21. While at the firm she was responsible for the successful launch strategy for several new products that the company brought to market.[which?]
In 2006, she launched Vu Technologies, India’s leading purveyor of luxury LCD and and LED televisions[citation needed]
At the age of 26, she won Zee TV’s Youngest Achiever Award.[citation needed] At age 29, she was named the Indo-American Society’s Most Outstanding Woman Entrepreneur. She is the youngest businesswoman on India Today’s list of 25 Most Powerful Women in India.[citation needed]
