Dirk De Smet

Dirk De Smet (born in Kapellen, Belgium on 30 April 1969) is a Flemish singer and saxophonist. He took part in the second series of the Belgian X Factor musical competition, winning the title on the final held on 17 December 2008 with 53% of the popular vote against the other finlaist Tom Dice.

He released the winning single on 18 December 2008 entitled Walk And Don't Look Back. It reached #4, its highest position on the Belgian music charts on 27 December 2008.
