Mixed martial arts career

On June 25, 2011, Sutherland defeated UFC veteran Mark Weir at UCMMA 21 - Stand Your Ground to win the UCMMA Middleweight Championship.^[2]

Sutherland is expected to defend his title at UCMMA 25 - The Beat Down against Jake Bostwick.^[3]
