Mikolay is a co-founder of the Reform Party of New Jersey, an alternative political party dedicated to advancing fiscal responsibility.[1][2] He has occasionally appeared on television as a spokesperson for the Reform Party of New Jersey.
His bi-weekly political column (known as The Populist Approach) is currently syndicated in several New Jersey newspapers.
The column has featured interviews with Congressman John B. Anderson, Governor Dick Lamm, Pat Choate, and numerous other high-profile politicians.
His opinion pieces have been featured in Tucker Carlson's The Daily Caller,[3] Independent Political Report,[4] and numerous other national publications.
Mikolay has worked on several political campaigns, including Scott Sipprelle's 2010 Congressional bid and Chris Daggett's 2009 gubernatorial campaign, although he later became an intern for Governor Chris Christie. [5]
He has been an invited guest speaker at Tea Party events across New Jersey [6] and as of 2011 is working on developing a libertarian webzine.
