Career
Troaré made his first team debut at the age of 18 in 2001 with Cambridge United F.C. against Bristol City F.C. in Football League Second Division, that later changed name to Football League One. The same year, but the next season (2001/2002) Traoré made his first start for the club, in the league opener at the Abbey Stadium against Brighton & Hove Albion F.C. Traoré was chosen as Man of the Match. In 2004 Traoré returned to the Swedish club Vasalund/Essing I.F. Season 2004/2005 while playing for Vasalund/Essing I.F in division 2 Östra Svealand, Demba finished as the leagues top scorer with 13 goals and was chosen as the league's best attacker. After that, Traoré signed with the Greek club Panetolikos F.C. located in Agrinio. Later he played for Apollon Kalamarias in the Greek Beta Ethniki. Due to the clubs economic problems Traoré left on a Free transfer (football) with six months left on the contract, on the 7th of August Traoré was signed by Fortuna Sittard. He made his debut the same day in the match against Helmond Sport (0-4 loss). However, in his 3rd game (August 21 versus HFC Haarlem 5-1 win ) Traoré made his first Hat-trick (3 goals) for the club. In the end of Mars 2011 Traoré signed a one year contract with Nybergsund IL-Trysil in Norway. Two week later (10 April 2011) Traoré scored his first goal for the club in an away game against Mjøndalen IF.
