Defense Park (Nanjing) is the most important part of Stones Park in Nanjing, Jiangsu, China. The location of Nanjing Stones Park is Hu Ju Road, No. 87. It occupies 20 hectares. There are many different kinds of natural landscape in park, such as mountain, city wall, and forest. Nanjing Stones Park is a represent of history and culture in Nanjing. It became a well-known tourist attraction since ancient. Many poets and writers use Stones Park as topic of their works. According to plan, the area is divided into three parts. Nanjing Defense Park which has been built is the most important part. Nanjing Defense Park which occupies 5.62 hectares is the only national defense education Park in the city. It occupies 20 hectares.The park name wrote by former general secretary Jiang Zemin.

Environment
With the development of society, Defense Park has changed a lot. Nowadays, after reconstruction,the scenery in park is beautiful and famous far and wide. You can see the wall built in Ming Dynasty winds to circle, the Qin Huai river flowing slowly in the park. The Defense Park neighbors Stones Mountain, to the south; adjoining Yan Wang River to the north. The view of park likes the style of Chinese garden, also full of modern feeling. In the centre of park is exhibition.[1]
Exhibition Hall
Exhibition hall is in the centre of the park. “The "Shenzhou" spacecraft and exhibition hall is newly opened.
Rhododendrons Park
Defense Park is also the largest rhododendrons park in Nanjing. The park is gorgeous with rhododendrons in May. All the way up to the top of the mountain, beautiful pink azaleas are seen in full bloom. There are many kinds of rhododendrons in the park, such as Small shiny red(小映红), Large Ziyan(大紫燕), White Hair cuckoo(毛白鹃), Summer cuckoo(夏鹃), the East Juan(东鹃)and so on. The park becomes colorful by rhododendrons.[2]
