Dee Hawkins is owner of Hawkins Trailer[1] and Rockhound Supply.[2] As a very well known "rockhound" Dee Hawkins is the current Treasurer of the Golden Spread Gem and Mineral Society.[3] His collection has over 250,000 lbs of rough gems that he created his "rock garden"[4] with in downtown Amarillo. As a collector of gemstones, dinosaur bones, minerals, and ancient artifacts[5] he has found ancient Sumarian artifacts and currently holds one of THE world's largest rough sapphires.
