Dedeman Hotels & Resorts International is an international chain of hotels and resorts and a subsidiary of the Turkish family business Dedeman Group. The company's first hotel was the Dedeman Ankara opened in 1966. The company is currently operating at 22 locations in Turkey and has other hotels in Bulgaria, Syria, Uzbekistan and Cyprus. Five new hotels are planned, one of which is in Iran.
In 2008, Dedeman took over Le Meridien hotels in Syria.[1]
