Dębostrów — Village — Dębostrów Coordinates: 53°36′17″N 14°31′17″E / 53.60472°N 14.52139°E Country Poland Voivodeship West Pomeranian County Police Gmina Police Population 170 Dębostrów [dɛmˈbɔstruf] (formerly German Damuster) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Police, within Police County, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-western Poland, close to the German border.[1] It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) north of Police and 22 km (14 mi) north of the regional capital Szczecin.

History
First references to Dębostrów (Damuster) came from 1784. Before 1945 the area was part of Germany. For the history of the region, see History of Pomerania.
Dębostrów, known as Damuster to its residents while part of Germany from 1815–1945, became part of Poland after the end of World War II and changed its name to the Polish Dębostrów.
