Dealer Team Vauxhall or DTV was set up in January 1971 and closed in 1981
Formed by Vauxhall Dealers to circumvent the General Motors and Vauxhall ban on Motorsport. Sponsoring a race program run by Engine tuner Bill Blydenstein
Vauxhall Cars developed and used for race and rallying include Viva, Firenza, Magnum, Victor, and Chevette.
Drivers included Gerry Marshall, Will Sparrow, Jimmy McRae, Pentti Airikkala and others
The 1981 franchise merger of Vauxhall and Opel also brought Dealer Team Vauxhall DTV and the Opel Dealer Team DOT, under one marketing umbrella, resulting in General Motors Dealer Sport.
