Daykovaya Peak

Daykovaya Peak (71°28′S 12°11′E / 71.467°S 12.183°E / -71.467; 12.183) is a prominent peak, 1,995 m, rising between Mount Hansen and Kare Bench in Westliche Petermann Range, Wohlthat Mountains. Discovered and plotted from air photos by German Antarctic Expedition, 1938-39. Mapped from air photos and surveys by Norwegian Antarctic Expedition, 1956–60; remapped by Soviet Antarctic Expedition, 1960–61, and named Gora Daykovaya (dike mountain).
