David Fulton is the most important private collector of Cremonese instruments living today.^[1] Born in 1944, he grew up in Eugene, Oregon, playing the violin from a young age. He studied computer science at the University of Chicago, and was the concertmaster of the University of Chicago Symphony while he was there.
