David Rees James (born 7 October 1906 in Treorchy — died circa-1981 in Rhondda) was a Welsh rugby union and professional rugby league footballer of the 1930s who at representative level played rugby union (RU) for Wales, and at club level for Treorchy RFC, playing at Hooker, i.e. number 2, and at club level played rugby league (RL) for Leeds, playing at Hooker, i.e. number 9, during the era of contested scrums.[1]

International Honours

David James won caps for Wales (RU) while at Treorchy RFC in 1931 against France, and Ireland.[2]
