David H. Edwards

David H. Edwards, born July 14, 1953, in London, UK, died October 11, 2008. Former resident of Hong Kong, PRC, since 1974, worked for the Hong Kong Government for nine years before starting several businesses in Hong Kong.

He was the founder and major shareholder of the Hong Kong-based IBC Group, and until his death held the position of Executive Director of China Central Government's Development Research Center of the State Council. He was awarded China's Peace Prize in 2006.
