David Chaussinand (born April 19, 1973 in Clermont-Ferrand, Auvergne) is a retired male hammer thrower from France. He set his personal best (80.99 metres) on August 19, 2001 at a meet in Rüdlingen. Chaussinand won the title (79.71 metres) at the 2001 Mediterranean Games, but was disqualified from the competition after failing a drug test (ephedrine). He got a three-years ineligibility (until August 24, 2005).
