David Cañas Fernández (born 26 August 1978 in Castilleja de la Cuesta, Seville) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for AD Ceuta as a central defender.

Cañas played 13 times for hometown's Sevilla FC during 1998–99, but the Andalusians were then in the second division; he also represented Getafe CF, AD Ceuta (two spells), Polideportivo Ejido, UD Salamanca, Albacete Balompié and Girona FC.
