David-John Newman (born 1956) is an artist and photographer who now lives in Wales.[1] His work centres on explorations of the body in which he often uses images of his own body juxtaposed with other images, such as those in medical or pathology textbooks, to produce disturbing composites. His work has featured at the Photographers' Gallery in London, where he was artist-in-residence, as well as exhibitions in Paris, such as the Mois de la Photo.
He is married to the screen-writer and director Catherine Linstrum.
