David Baird Cheadle (born February 19, 1952) is a former left-handed Major League Baseball pitcher. He was born in Greensboro, North Carolina and attended high school in Asheville, North Carolina. He never attended college.
Career
Cheadle was drafted in the first round of the 1970 Amateur Draft, by the New York Yankees. He made his Major League debut on September 16, 1973, playing for the Atlanta Braves. He never saw any Major League action after 1973. His career statistics include 2 innings pitched, a 0-1 record, and an 18.00 E.R.A.
